Our mission

Most apparel returns happen because the garment didn't fit. Tryon AIgives shoppers a way to compare their measurements to a merchant's size chart on the product page itself. Every recommendation is explainable; every input is customer-confirmed; the merchant controls the size charts that drive the suggestion.

We focus on giving merchants the tooling to ship confidently. Whether that lowers returns is a question we leave to the analytics dashboard, where every try-on session is attributed to actual orders so the merchant can answer it themselves.

How we're different

• Privacy by default. Body measurements are encrypted at rest. Photos for AI measurement are processed in memory only and never persisted.
• Transparent AI. The recommendation engine explains its reasoning. The default is a deterministic rule-based engine; LLM-powered options (Claude Haiku, Gemini 2.5 Flash) are opt-in and fall back to rules on any error.
• Merchant in control. You configure the size charts. You toggle which products participate. You see the ROI in the analytics dashboard, attributed back to actual orders.
• No lock-in. Uninstall and all data is purged within 48 hours via the GDPR shop/redact webhook.

Built for Shopify

Tryon AI ships as an embedded Shopify app (App Bridge + Polaris) and a theme app extension. Storefront calls are routed via the Shopify App Proxy with HMAC verification. Billing uses Shopify's billing API. Compliance uses Shopify's mandatory webhooks.
